    Picture of John Nottage of the 2nd MA Calvary, along with a hand written letter / note to daughter Laura. These documents came together when purchased in 1990. There is no other information. The two Items come as is.
    The letter / note is addressed:
    To daughter Laura.
    " My Daughter Dear, The time draws near that your father and you must part. So love the Lord, give him you heart and last in Heaven you will appear"
    Overall in good condition.

    In pencil is his name stating he was captured and that he died in prison.
